BREITLING AND CERVO LAUNCH A JOINT ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION

To celebrate Breitling’s 140th anniversary and the 15th anniversary of CERVO Mountain Resort, the two brands are launching the Navitimer Automatic GMT 41 CERVO Edition.

Breitling and CERVO Mountain Resort have been collaborating for four years, with the mission of bringing the lifestyle and values of modern adventurers to the world. Zermatt has always been a place for those who love adventure, and a paradise for pioneers and explorers, and CERVO has taken up this essence and transformed it into a forward-looking hotel concept. This pioneering spirit is firmly rooted in the history of Breitling as well and has shaped the brand’s development for the last 140 years.

To celebrate the anniversary of Breitling and CERVO, the luxury watch manufacturer and the mountain resort have teamed up to launch an exclusive limited-edition timepiece. The Navitimer Automatic GMT 41 CERVO Edition is limited to 150 pieces—a reference to the 15th anniversary of the mountain resort. The GMT function with a second time zone display makes the watch the perfect companion for any journey. The limited-edition timepiece has a 41 mm stainless-steel case and the Navitimer stainless-steel bracelet. The dial is CERVO green, and the GMT hand is CERVO glow. The caseback bears the limited-edition notice “One of 150,” the CERVO logo, and the resort’s guiding principle, “BEYOND EXPLORING.”

The Navitimer is one of the most famous timepieces ever made. In fact, many collectors consider it to be one of the greatest watches of all time. What began in 1952 as an instrument for pilots now has a deep meaning for all those who carry this timepiece on their personal journey. The Navitimer Automatic GMT 41 presents the essence of the iconic look, dispensing with the chronograph while retaining a balanced dial. The central placement of the 24-hour scale on the clear face of the GMT highlights the complex slide rule and enhances the overall aesthetics.

“Breitling and CERVO are united not only by their adventurous and pioneering spirit, but also by a deeply rooted awareness of the highest quality and authenticity. This limited edition unites these values and is symbolic of our wonderful partnership,” says Reto Krattiger, Managing Director of Breitling Switzerland.

Daniel Lauber, Owner and Managing Director of CERVO Mountain Resort, adds: “For us, the Navitimer Automatic GMT 41 CERVO Edition is more than just a watch—it is a symbol of the value of casual luxury and sense of adventure that characterizes CERVO Mountain Resort and its guests. This watch embodies the freedom and passion for discovery that can be found in the mountains and on all life’s journeys.”

The exclusive watch will be available from 3 December 2024 at the Breitling Boutique at Bahnhofstrasse 11 in Zermatt. Alternatively, the watch can be conveniently ordered online.
