From 18 to 20 September 2026, the CERVO Mountain Resort will once again become a meeting place for people who want to take time out – for new perspectives, genuine encounters and shared experiences. With the sixth edition of A Love Beyond, this cultural weekend – themed ‘What lasts?’ – invites guests to explore a question that could hardly be more topical: what remains when everything changes?
The weekend centres on resilience, community and the search for what gives us a sense of stability. Inspired by the constant change of the Zmutt Glacier, guests will enjoy three days filled with culture, cuisine, physical activity and mindfulness. A group hike to the glacier, conversations by the fire, musical moments, creative rituals and extraordinary culinary experiences create space for reflection and connection.
The weekend begins on Friday with arrival and socialising: the Opening Gathering with Zermatt Unplugged Connect & KEUR, the Chefs & Winemakers Night hosted by Design Hotels®, an acoustic campfire session and cocktails accompanied by vinyl music all combine to create the special atmosphere for which A Love Beyond is renowned.
On Saturday, the programme takes participants out into the mountains surrounding the Zmutt Glacier. Mindful walks, yoga and breathing sessions, a hike or bike tour to the glacier, a communal glacier picnic, and creative and restorative activities invite you to view change and constancy from new perspectives. The day draws to a close with a Campfire Conversation by Breitling and the Big Table Mezze from the iconic Beirut restaurant LIZA.
Sunday is all about taking things with you and carrying them forward. The weekend draws to a fitting close with the Farewell Brunch – a shared ritual centred on the question ‘The Essence of What Lasts’ – and an interactive concert with Zermatt Unplugged.
What began six years ago as a labour of love for CERVO owner Daniel F. Lauber has developed into a unique event that goes far beyond a traditional retreat. A Love Beyond connects people, fosters a sense of community and demonstrates just how powerful shared experiences in the mountains can be.
The weekend can be enjoyed either as a hotel guest during a stay at CERVO or independently with a Retreat Pass. This means that external guests also have the opportunity to take part in the programme and immerse themselves in the world of A Love Beyond alongside the community.
This is precisely why A Love Beyond is also a wonderful example of what is possible at CERVO: retreats and experiences that have a lasting impact and bring people together.
