Every year, as part of our Artist-in-Residence programme, CERVO invites artists to bring their ideas and projects to life here. French artist Sophie Lavine is currently staying with us until 25 June.
Come and visit Sophie tomorrow on the Madre Nostra Terrace by the Deck and experience her creative process up close. Over a small complimentary aperitif, you’ll have the chance to get to know her work and chat with her.
During her time at the CERVO, Sophie is exploring the Matterhorn as a landscape and source of inspiration. In her works, she combines photography, embroidery and language to create poetic narratives about places, memories and encounters.
